On January 18, 2005 the REC hosted a public
meeting to review a draft of the new stream buffer ordinance.
A representative of ANJEC was there to present slides for
background education. A brief question and answer period
followed. Over 30 people attended this meeting.
On Saturday, April 24th 2004, the Roxbury High School
Environmental Club had an Earth Day Festival at Horseshoe Lake.
The REC setup a table at the festival and gave out environmental
information along with free flower seeds and White Pine seedlings.
It was a beautiful spring day and everyone had a lot of fun.
